Since I wrapped up Rock of Pages back in 2015, people have been asking me what my next project was going to be. Pixel Overdrive has been a fun experiment, but I mainly just update that when something strikes me. That being said, I’m proud to announce my next full–on comic series is a collaboration with amazing artist and brother, Nate Xopher.
The Wyld is a comic series about a world of animals who must return to the law of the jungle after their magical society has fallen. The first chapter follows Rok, a wolf who was raised by sheep, as he struggles to find his place in a village of herbivores who fear and mistrust him. Meanwhile, a swarm of bugs is approaching with an agenda of their own...
I’m writing the book, and Nate is on art duty. We recently sent the first chapter, Before the Storm, out to the printer and hope to have the first physical copies in hand to debut at Gem City Comic Con. We are beyond excited to finally share this world with you that we’ve been creating for so long. I’ll be posting more information about the comic in the next month, so stay tuned here and on our social media for more updates!
